The former home of the founders of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company, this National Historic Property, built in the early 1900s, showcases many American paintings of the 18th-20th centuries. The house adjoins lovely formal gardens and many of the support buildings have been converted to the shops and restaurants of Reynolda Village.

Located on the campus of Wake Forest University, the museum offers exhibits on the cultures and inhabitants of the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania. It is the only museum devoted to the study of world cultures in the southeastern United States.
